Description: Part 1 of this new series: this is an 18-minute video featuring a mostly realistic police/prison roleplay scene with some liberties taken tending away from realism, but which seeks to remain grounded in its content. an edited introductory montage reminiscent of a true crime docudrama establishes the story, and then we join kora summers waiting in a county jail intake processing room. what follows is a long uncut 2-camera sequence, that seeks to ground the viewer in a fly on the wall style real-time presentation of kora's experience and emotions as she deals with the officer, and the consequences of her actions. -watch as kora is led in to processing by a male officer with her hands cuffed behind her back. after waiting around for a little while, she is then told to strip out of her street clothes in front of the officer, and is directed to place all of her belongings in a plastic bin. kora’s naked body is then thoroughly searched - a process that grows increasingly humiliating for her - as she’s told to stick out her tongue with her hands on top of her head, and must squat and cough while the officer shines a bright flashlight into her most intimate areas. she is then given a prison uniform to put on - an oversized green jumpsuit with the words "county jail" printed across her back. once she has changed, her hands are cuffed behind her back again, and the male officer proceeds to take her mugshots. kora then waits for the officer to return, before she is led off-screen to a cell.
