Description: Pig butchering is a phrase used for certain online scams, the ones that use social media platforms to find their victims. it's the classic love romance scams that suck you in and result in you loosing a lot more than just your trust and dignity, you'll lose loads of cash as well.. social media is the pig pens where the butchers find their pigs, they go pig hunting and use ready-made scripts and feed you the lines they know will work. the butchers play with the pigs and get the pigs trusting them, raising those pigs to become dumb willing participants in the scam. then the butchering starts and the silly pig gets ripped off, the fake love romance you thought you were in gets ended. the poor pig won't know what to do and even if you go to the police you won't know any real details about the butcher because everything you thought was real turns out to be false, you won't even know the butchers real name, what a damn shame..
