Rainy Cranking

Description: Eng lavinia went to the supermarket to buy a pair of new shoes as a gift for a friend who will visit her this week. when she gets into the car to return home, it’s raining, and as often happens in bad weather, the renault struggles to start. lavinia gently pumps the pedal; after a few attempts, the little renault starts but doesn’t stay running because the engine is flooded. lavinia tries revving to clear the engine, but the car doesn’t rev up. it’s flooded. lavinia pauses for a moment, looking at her black sandals. the heels elegantly accentuate her slender ankles, and the contrast with the white tights highlights the delicacy of her feet. she feels a pleasant sensation of freshness and comfort as she wears them, as if they were made just for her. “if only these shoes could also solve the problem with my renault,” she thinks with a bitter smile. curious, she decides to try on the new shoes she bought for her friend, hoping for better luck. will she manage to convince the renault to start without ruining the new shoes?   it lavinia è andata al supermercato per comprare un paio di nuove calzature da regalare ad un’amica che verrà a trovarla questa settimana. quando sale in auto per tornare piove e come spesso accade con il brutto tempo, la renault fatica ad accendersi.   lavinia avvia la macchina pompando il pedale in modo gentile, dopo un po’ di tentativi la piccola renault si avvia ma non sta accesa perchè il motore è ingolfato.  lavinia prova a fare  revving  per liberare il motore ma la macchina non sale di giri. e’ ingolfata. lavinia si ferma un momento, guardando i suoi  sandali neri. i tacchi slanciavano elegantemente le sue caviglie sottili e il contrasto con i collant bianchi metteva ancora più in risalto la delicatezza dei suoi piedi. sentiva una piacevole sensazione di freschezza e comodità mentre li indossava, come se fossero stati fatti su misura per lei. “se solo queste scarpe potessero risolvere anche il problema della mia renault,” pensò con un sorriso amaro. incuriosita decide di  provare ad indossare le calzature nuove che ha comprato per la sua amica sperando di avere più fortuna.  riuscirà senza rovinare le scarpe nuove a convincere  la renault ad avviarsi?
