Title: Fair Fare by Jeanette SD
Description: Jeanette was behind the wheel of her battered taxi when a young guy got into the front seat. she gave him a quick glance, continuing her drive through the narrow city streets with indifference. the guy was silent, and everything seemed pretty normal until they reached the destination. "uh... i don’t have any money," he said quietly, staring out the window. jeannette stopped the car and turned to him. her gaze became cold and focused. "no money?" she repeated with a wicked grin, pulling a roll of tape from the glove compartment. "well, that’s fixable." before the guy could react, she quickly wrapped his hands and mouth with tape, immobilizing him in the front seat. he tried to scream, but the tape only muffled his cries. jeanette lazily removed her dirty, worn-out sneakers, which she wore every day, hardly ever taking them off. "you want to know what real hard work smells like?" she said mockingly, bringing her sneakers right up to his face. the guy squirmed but was powerless to escape. after the sneakers, it was time for her tattered, sweat-soaked socks. jeannette held them to his nose, watching as he tried to turn away, but the tape wouldn’t let him move. finally, she took off the socks and, with a smirk, began to hover her bare, grimy feet right under his nose, reveling in his discomfort. "that’s how it is, next time you’ll think twice before hitching a ride without paying," she said, putting her sneakers back on and enjoying his helplessness.
