"you're no longer needed by me," she whispered, as if addressing the bear. with a strong kick, she tossed aside her heels and, now barefoot, continued her actions. she stomped on the bear, twisted it, and kicked it, feeling her fingers sink into the soft fabric. the bear thrashed from side to side, but jeannette didn't stop.
