Description: Every morning, as i prepare to step outside, my little domestic nightmare begins – the search for decent socks. you'd think it would be simple, right? yet it's an illusion. one pair turns out to be holey, another reeks as though it housed an entire army, a third bears stains of mysterious origin, and the fourth is adorned with gaping tears. in frustration, i begin rifling through all my reserves, but to no avail. the anger and disappointment accumulate to a crescendo. it's at this moment i seize my powerful vacuum cleaner, lurking in the corner of the room as if awaiting its moment of glory. with ferocity, i suck up all these worthless socks into its tube, relishing the sound of their disappearance. they vanish one by one, and i imagine them being swallowed into the vacuum bag, like a black hole where they rightfully belong. the vacuum cleaner hums triumphantly, and i feel relief wash over me. and then, amidst the remnants of the sorted chaos, i suddenly spot them – the lone survivors, clean and whole socks. with a smile and a sense of triumph, i slip them on, feeling that i've emerged victorious in this small but significant battle.
