Mudstuck: Call of the Mud

Description: I set out a bit late for the house party, feeling quite annoyed with the delay. dressed in a black little dress that clung tightly, showcasing my bare legs, and paired with very fine sandal heels, i aimed to make a lasting impression on my friends. straight, shiny hair framed my face, complemented by bright red lipstick and bold black eyeliner. the venue was tucked away in the forest, and my journey involved navigating through winding forest roads. as i drove, my mobile phone suddenly rang, buried somewhere in the backseat. frustratingly, i couldn't reach it, so i decided to pull over. as i drove to the side of the road to ensure passing cars had enough room, i immediately noticed the ground was quite soft. still determined to answer the call, i stopped the car there.  it was a friend wondering about my whereabouts. i called back and assured them i'd be there soon. hanging up, i geared up to continue the journey. "okay, i hope i'm not stuck now," i muttered, half to myself. as i attempted to drive away, the car initially responded, allowing me to reverse a good distance. encouraged, i then tried to move forward through the mud, but it reached a point where the wheels just spun. despite my efforts to nudge it and maneuver back and forth, i couldn't free the car entirely to continue on my way. nervousness set in as frustration grew, and a hint of desperation lingered in the air.
