Title:
Sarah drives herself to the Wedding!
Description:
sarah paced nervously in her office, glancing at the clock every few seconds. she was supposed to be at her best friend emily's wedding in less than an hour, but her boyfriend, jake, was nowhere to be seen. they had planned to go together, and sarah couldn't understand why he was running so late. he should be here by now. frustrated, sarah peered out of the window and noticed jake's car parked in front of her office. she hurriedly rushed outside, hoping to find some explanation for his absence. as she approached the car, she saw the keys dangling in the ignition. she's annoyed he's not here but the car being here presents a unique opportunity. time was ticking, and sarah knew she couldn't afford to be late for emily's big day. her heart pounding, sarah made a decision that she knew was reckless and irresponsible. she convinced herself that she could handle driving jake's car, even though she didn't have a license and had never driven before. desperate to make it to the wedding, she slid into the driver's seat, her hands trembling on the steering wheel. before starting the engine, sarah fumbled with her phone and quickly googled, "how to drive a car." she skimmed through the search results, absorbing as much information as she could in those fleeting seconds. she took a deep breath, closed her eyes for a moment, and then turned the key in the ignition. the engine roared to life, and sarah's heart raced along with it. her heels rest on the pedal as sarah trys to understand there use. she slowly releases the brake, cautiously easing the car backwards. her hands gripped the wheel tightly, her knuckles turning white. the street seemed like a foreign landscape as sarah adjusted to the newfound responsibility of controlling the vehicle. she gets the car moving down the driveway but can't control the clutch and accelerator which causes her to stall the car but she's keeps her determination and continues to the road. with every cautious mile, sarah gained a bit more confidence. she focused on the road ahead, trying to ignore her pounding heart and the nagging voice in her head telling her that this was a terrible idea. she couldn't let emily down, and if she had to bend the rules to make it to the wedding, so be it. as sarah arrived at the wedding venue, she pulled into the parking lot with a mixture of relief and anxiety. she parked the car as best as she could and took a moment to compose herself, her nerves still on edge. she glanced at her reflection in the rear view mirror, giving herself a determined nod.
