Description: Hospital nurse beatrice is down in an old part of the hospital after exercising in the gym which she required to calm her mind after a particularly difficult er shift. in the bathroom she has a panic attack and runs out. when she gets to the stress-test exam room she falls to the floor and starts to twitch. nurse mia and doctor eve find her and push her on a stretcher and into the small treatment room. beatrice is twitching a lot, and they have to stabilize her body to stop her falling to the ground. they then remove her clothes and prepare her for a full examination to find out what is happening. over the next few minutes, the following equipment is used while they try to stabilize her condition: - bp monitor- eeg electrodes on the head- 3 lead ecg on the chest- 12-lead ecg for chest and extremities- nasal cannula- oxygen mask the patient is still twitching, her eyes are wide open, and she is gasping for air. they use the expectorant and suck fluid loudly from her mouth. meanwhile, doctor eve tries to squeeze the fluid out of the lungs, pumping from the outside while nurse mia ambu breathes her with a balloon. the medical team decide to intubate the patient. when this is done, they continue ballooning through the et tube. when the patient seems to stabilize, they put on a nasal mask for better oxygenation. a very exciting clip focused on symptoms, heavy breathing, suction machine, and a lot of equipment (eeg, ecg, bp, ambu bagging, o2 mask). for all medical fans. don't miss this graphic clip.
