Description: It's the end of the season when lia decides to take a crutch/gimp with her friend on the promenade by the sea. she chose this time for her vacation to accommodate her fully caste leg and exposed toes. being self-conscious she knows there will be fewer people around to gawk at her or step on her toes during the regular season when so many visit. and while its pretty deserted her bare toes are cold and she still has to contend with getting up and down lots of stairs -- at one point she even stubs her bare big toe and has to bend down to rub it.
