The Fainting Damsel

Description: Audrey is a noble lady who has just been saved at the last second by a hooded, handsome stranger from a caravan of bandits. she leans against a wall to recover, looking up at her handsome rescuer (pov). as the adrenaline fades, she struggles to stay composed, politely introducing herself and mentioning that she's about to faint. audrey’s dizziness becomes unmistakable—her gaze unfocuses, her eyes roll back in a slow, graceful swoon, and she slides down the wall before collapsing.audrey is now lying on a couch, drifting in and out of awareness. her eyes flutter open only to cross and roll back again, faint sighs escaping as she repeatedly loses awareness. when audrey finally wakes enough to stay conscious, she blinks slowly up at her rescuer, confused, blushing, and embarrassed as she realizes she must have fainted and that he carried her to his camp. she shyly thanks him, asks where she is and how long she’s been napping, and responds to his flirtatious explanations with bashful giggles. upon learning he must take her somewhere secret, she nervously but curiously asks if he's going to knock her out again. after a soft, embarrassed “nighty night,” he blows enchanted dust into her face, instructing her to breathe deeply. with each breath, her eyes grow heavier until they roll back and she faints once more. audrey is now on a bed, briefly awakening again—eyes completely crossed, a dazed smile forming as she murmurs about seeing birdies—before sighing and slipping back into a faint.
