NIGHTMARE ON MAPLE STREET! SQUATTER’S SURPRISE

Description: Realtor claire irons stepped into the vacant colonial just before dusk, surprised that a light was on that the day before, when she drove by, had somehow been turned on. never mind, so, this day, she was halfway through her routine walk when she noticed some bedding and food items scattered in a corner of a once vibrant and classic living room. someone was squatting in this property and she would have to deal with that situation before she could even begin to think about selling this place.   just then, she heard the sound of footsteps behind her. before she could turn, an arm clamped around her and a rough voice whispered that she shouldn’t have come. the struggle was quick and disorienting; her phone skittered across the hardwood, and rope she didn’t even see him grab tightened around her wrists. moments later she was on that same floor, among the bedding and garbage, gagged, helpless, and staring at the hulk of the man who now paced nervously as though she were the intruder. when the door shut behind him, the silence felt louder than any scream she could have made!
