The classic head-to-head contest is back! and, for the fist time ever, in a 1 vs 1 mixed format! gloria (stats) and frank (stats) square off to compare their strength and athleticism in a series of challenges, the standard h2h format, with the winner of each performing a victory pose over the loser, in a real, competitive setting. gloria vs frank is one of the most underrated rivalries at fight pulse. the two have met thrice on the mats in standard matches prior to this, with frank winning the first two encounters and gloria winning the third, with the total score between the two being 15 rounds for frank to 13 rounds for gloria. note: unfortunately, we botched the ending of the contest, miscalculated the score and gave the victory to the loser. a great injustice. but one that is fixable. barring that this is fantastic, real competition between a powerful woman and a smaller, but athletic guy. an overview of the format. h2h contest consists of the following 11 challenges:1 push-out contest – pushing the opponent out of the light-grey area – whoever touches the dark-grey area first with any part of their body loses the round2 arm-wrestling – laying down on the mats; once with with each arm ( possibility of a tie ) 3 lifting – the contestant who lifts their opponent over one shoulder and keeps them from touching the mats for the longest period of time wins this challenge4 push-ups – the contestants do push-ups on referee’s count, and the one who stops sooner loses the challenge5 leg wrestling – once with each leg ( possibility of a tie ) 6 schoolgirl pin challenge – this challenge follows the basic outline of our schoolgirl pin challenge videos (fw-12, fw-16 & fw-23); in order to get a point the contestant has to pin their opponent’s shoulders down to the count of ten within a one-minute period; each can choose their favorite type of sgpin7 bodyscissors – the contestant who withstands her / his opponent’s bodyscissors for the longest wins the point8 front headscissors – the contestant who withstands her / his opponent’s front headscissors for the longest wins the point9 reverse headscissors – similar rules to above10 figure-four headscissors – similar rules to above11 reverse figure-four headscissors – similar rules to above the winner of most of the challenges is declared to be the winner of the contest. video outline: introductory interviews, all the challenges listed above (15 minutes), victory pose, concluding interviews.
