Intense Labor Pains

Description: I’m sitting here folding laundry when suddenly i feel a warm gush. my eyes go wide as i freeze, because i know instantly, my water just broke… my breathing quickens, and i fumble for my phone to call my husband. before i can even finish my sentence, the first contraction slams into me, making me double over, clutching my belly. the waves come one after another, my voice breaking between heavy breaths, moans, and whimpers. i shift, clutching my belly, and hold onto anything i can as the contractions grow stronger, each one stealing my breath and leaving me trembling.
