Description: “detention disaster”i had just about had it with my student travy. every week it was something new — talking during lessons, doodling on the whiteboard when my back was turned, or somehow sneaking an entire sandwich into a pop quiz. naturally, he ended up in detention… again.this time, i marched over to his desk, arms crossed.“travy we’re going to have a serious discussion about your behavior after class”.but travy didn’t look scared at all. he leaned back in his chair with that ridiculous grin he always wore, the one that made me instantly suspicious.“oh, don’t worry, professor,” he said. “i’ve got it all planned out.”planned out? those were dangerous words coming from him.i sighed. detention was supposed to be his punishment. now it’s clear, it was obviously my punishment.
