Friend Of The Family

Description: Could you resist that face in the morning smiling up at you?? stella is in the midst of graduate school interviews this summer and opts to pay a visit and stay with a long time family friend while she is in town for her interview, they have a long history as this family friend has partly mentored her and is responsible for stella entering the science field. stella asks him though why has he been such a stranger to her family, he explains that he developed a bit of a crush on stella's mom, and felt it was in the interest of everyone for him to just kind of keep his distance. stella gets it, and is quietly intrigued about his crush on his mom. but he tells her he is of course more than happy to have stella stay with him, but does giver her a warning, in her guest room there have been a few rats, such is the nature of living close to a university and especially those frat houses where no one ever does the dishes. he does offer stella should she choose, to crash upstairs in his room on a portable mattress. given the choice between rats and the mattress, stella chooses the latter, and when she wakes up in the morning, she can't stop thinking about the family friend lying in his bed...
