Defibrillation Desperation

Description: Eden lies hanging off the edge of the bed, breathing heavily as beads of sweat glisten across her chest. every shallow inhale sends waves of pain through her body, leaving her too weak to sit up. she collapses back onto the mattress, clutching at her chest in agony, each movement intensifying her exhaustion. desperate to find relief, she tries to slide down onto the floor, but her weakened limbs can barely support her weight.   help soon arrives, and the good samaritan quickly assesses the situation, feeling her racing, erratic heartbeat. wasting no time, he grabs the aed, placing the pads firmly against her damp skin. eden’s eyes widen with fear as he charges the device, her body jolting violently as the powerful shocks surge through her chest. she lets out a faint, pain-filled grunt with every pulse of electricity, her breathing growing heavier and more labored with each shock. weak and moaning, she pleads softly for it to stop, as she tries to clutch her aching chest, only for her aid to gently move her hand away to continue defibrillation.
