cranked but won't start

Description: She sat behind the wheel, skirt clinging to her thighs, white heels trembling on the pedal.  she twisted the key again—harder and harder with lots of attempts but nothing. with a sharp breath, she tore off her heels, her stocking foot slamming the gas.she jumping on the pedal in  hope to start the engine but nothing worked. shhhh.... still silence.
