Ivi in iCU

Description: Ivi is in the icu following a successful procedure. she wears a hospital gown, bp cuff, nasal cannula and is hooked up to a 5 lead heart monitor. the nurse comes in to examine her, listens to her heart and lungs with steth and checks her bp. then she leaves. soon ivi's breathing becomes difficult. the med team enters and removes her nasal cannula and provides her an o2 mask to assist her. when the doctor auscultates her back, her heart goes vfib. the med team starts resuscitation with deep and strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. the defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the first round. the med team continues the resus procedure. following a few more cycles the patient's pulse returns to sinus rhythm. the med team preps for intubation and the respirator and performs it on the patient. ivi soon stabilizes. an excellent hospital resus clip on cutie ivi. with nasal cannula, o2 mask, ecg, intubation, respirator, cpr with deep and strong chest compressions and defibrillation. a must see for resus fans.
