Stuck on the wayback

Description: It had been a long night, filled with laughter, music, and a few drinks. now sophia just wanted to get home and crash in bed. as she drove, a shortcut occurred to her that would save her almost five miles. “why not?” she thought, turning left onto a side road. at first, everything seemed normal, a path of hard-packed gravel. but then the road steepened, and the gravel was replaced by tall grass dampened by the morning humidity. sophia tried to accelerate, but the wheels started to slip. no matter how many times she tried, the car wouldn’t move forward. it was stuck. she got out of the car, her heels digging into the damp, grassy dirt, and she thought, “i knew this was a bad idea,” as she looked around.
