"did you come alone, or is backup on the way?" kiki remains silent, her eyes burning with defiance. the leader smirks—he expected this. so, he turns to alba instead. gripping her shoulder, he makes his threat clear. kiki tenses. she can't let alba suffer. gritting her teeth, she finally gives in. "backup will be here in thirty minutes." the criminals exchange glances. time is short. they need to escape—but first, they have unfinished business. in the next scene, alba and kiki are no longer tied to chairs. now, they lie bound on the floor, their wrists and ankles securely restrained and with few more tight ropes around their bodies. their shoes have been removed, leaving them barefoot. strips of tape silence them, muffling their efforts to communicate. they know the gang is up to something—and it won’t be good. desperate, alba and kiki struggle, twisting and flexing against the ropes. kiki manages to push herself onto her knees, then her feet. still bound, she carefully hops toward the window, hoping to attract attention. but the penthouse is six floors up. the glass is thick and unbreakable. no way to call for help. the door swings open. the gang leader steps in, his eyes darkening as he sees their escape attempt. "persistent," he muses.
